THE GATHERING IS SUSPENDING ITS SERVICES AFTER AUGUST 28, 2022
The Gathering at Sandestin is a local non-denominational worship service located in the Sandestin Resort in Miramar Beach, Florida. We meet every Sunday at 10 AM in the Linkside Exhibit Center or the Linkside Bayside Ballroom Sandestin. They are located near the Links Golf Course. A sign will be on the street showing where we are meeting that particular Sunday. All denominations are welcome to attend, including locals, their guests and our visitors to the resort. Dress is resort casual.
The Gathering started on October 31, 2011. The minister is now Ronnie Brewer. Ronnie and his wife, Janet, are retired and living in Sandestin. Ronnie served churches all over Alabama, also with stops in Tennessee and South Carolina. The music is a mix of traditional, gospel, and contemporary Christian.
We have a very traditional service, with singing, the reciting of the Apostle's Creed, an offering, Communion every week, a Scripture lesson, and a message by Ronnie Brewer, or a substitute minister, like the retired Bishop of the North American Anglican Church or a professional actress who is renowned for her Christian teachings. Both are Sandestin residents. You are invited to come and worship with us any and all Sundays.
